The questions Bradley County families ask us most often. If yours is not below, send a quote request — Krista or Wes will reply within one business hour.
Are you a moving company or a broker?
A moving company. We hold the trucks, the W-2 crew, and the TN HHG + USDOT/MC operating authority ourselves. We do not subcontract your move to a broker chain. The crew that shows up on move day is on our payroll.
How long have you been moving Bradley County families?
Since 2014. Twelve seasons of local + long-distance moves out of our 1820 Keith Street NW office in Cleveland.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry TN HHG registration for intrastate moves and our own USDOT + MC operating authority for long-distance interstate work. Every move includes minimum $1M cargo liability coverage. Full Value Protection is available as a paid upgrade for fragile or high-value shipments.
How does pricing work?
Flat-rate, in writing. Jenna (our estimator) builds your quote from inventory + access + add-ons. Whatever is on the written quote is what you pay at delivery — no hourly traps, no fuel surcharge added at the end, no rebill.
How many quotes will I get?
One — from us. We do not fan your phone number out to a dozen brokers. You get a single written flat-rate quote with line items, the move details we used to build it, and Wes' signature on the binding rate.
What does it cost to get a quote?
Nothing. Quotes are free, in writing, with no obligation. Submit the form on any page on this site and we get back within one business hour.
Will you ask for a deposit?
We take a small refundable hold to lock your date — typically $100-$200. If any mover asks for more than 20% upfront on a residential move, that's an FMCSA red flag — we don't. Wes explains our deposit terms before you book.
What kinds of moves do you handle?
Local Bradley County moves, intrastate Tennessee moves (Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis), long-distance out of Cleveland TN to anywhere in the Southeast. We also handle specialty items: piano + organ moves, gun safes, antiques, fine art. Apartment moves with COI are routine.
Is the crew on your payroll?
Yes. All movers are W-2 full-time, background-checked, paid by us. No day-labor staffing companies, no subcontracted crews from out of town. Marcus Bell runs the local Bradley County crew, Derek Holloway runs the long-distance interstate team.
What about packing materials?
Available as a paid add-on. Our full-pack option includes boxes, tape, paper, bubble wrap, and crew time to pack and load. If you pack yourself we still wrap furniture in pads + stretch wrap at no extra cost.
Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?
Yes, same-day. Most apartment buildings, HOAs, and commercial properties require a COI before move-in. Send your building manager's contact to Krista and we'll email it over the same business day.
Do you do same-day or next-day moves?
When we have crew capacity, yes — Tuesday and Wednesday are usually the open days. Call (423) 555-0148 for last-minute requests and Krista will tell you what's open.
What if something gets damaged?
Open the claim with us same-day if possible. Standard cargo coverage is $0.60/lb under federal default for interstate moves; Full Value Protection (paid upgrade) covers declared value. We handle claims directly — no broker in between, no 'not our crew' runaround.
