Bradley County Movers Match is a Cleveland, Tennessee-based matching service connecting Bradley County families with the vetted local moving carriers we’ve personally checked. We are not a moving company. We don’t operate trucks, we don’t employ moving crews, and we don’t hold a USDOT number — the licensed local movers we match for our customers do all of that. What we do is the unsexy legwork most people don’t have time to do themselves: figure out which Bradley County carriers actually show up when they say they will, check that their license and insurance are current, watch their complaint trail honestly (not the cherry-picked five-star testimonial page), and shortlist one to three carriers per quote request so our customers compare written flat-rate quotes side-by-side.
Why this exists
Wes Tipton founded the matching service in 2014. Wes grew up in Bradley County, graduated from Lee University in 2003, and spent six years dispatching for a regional household-goods carrier out of Chattanooga before opening the matching service. The recurring pattern he saw on the carrier side: Bradley County families calling local movers, getting verbal phone estimates that bore no resemblance to what was charged at delivery, getting handed off to subcontracted crews who’d never spoken to the dispatcher who took the original call, and getting sandbagged with last-minute fuel charges, vague hourly tabs, and “long carry” fees that didn’t apply to the actual driveway.
The fix wasn’t to start another moving company — there were already plenty, and the bad actors were undercutting the good ones on price. The fix was to do the carrier vetting work for the customer, in advance, and only forward the request to carriers who’d already been screened. That’s what Bradley County Movers Match has done since 2014, and that’s what we still do.
What the matching service costs
Nothing, to you, ever. We don’t charge a matching fee, a referral fee, a percentage, or an admin fee. The carriers we match know we’ve sent them business that closed, and they understand the long-term value of treating those customers well — that’s the entire mechanism. If you book a matched carrier and the move goes well, we hear about it through reviews and through future referrals. If it doesn’t go well, we hear about that too, and the carrier gets a conversation with Wes or comes off the shortlist for the next month while we sort out what happened.

- Travis Bowers — Move Coordinator (3 years). Handles the carrier shortlist, schedule windows, and the post-quote follow-through.
- Jenna Stiles — Quote Specialist (2 years). Compares line items across the three quotes you get so nothing weird slips by.
What we won’t do
- We won’t shortlist a carrier whose TN HHG registration or USDOT/MC authority isn’t current. Wes pulls the paperwork — every carrier, every request.
- We won’t forward your request to a dozen carriers and let them fight for you with cold calls. One to three, picked deliberately.
- We won’t push you toward the most expensive available slot if a cheaper one fits your timeline. The matching service has no upside for that — see “what it costs.”
- We won’t claim to be the moving company. We’re not. The matched carrier is the moving company. We’re the people who find you the right one.
